PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmosphere which makes it possible to practice calligraphy and penmanship in much more composure when one practices the calligraphy by imparting a copybook with a characteristic smell of ink stick, in an ink stick used in calligraphy or penmanship having a unique atmosphere to improve one's composure when one adds water to and rubs the ink stick on a slab, and when one dips a brush pen in the ink and make a fair copy on white Japanese writing paper, whereas, since a printing material of the copybook is produced by a conventional printing method, consequently, there is no characteristic smell of the ink stick.;SOLUTION: An offset ink or an ink-jet ink which mainly comprises a calligraphy ink stick-smelling ink composition is developed by adding borneol to a black ink compounded carbon black.
