PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying apparatus which can suppress the acidification of the fluid for humidifying or the deterioration of pipe members due to aging. PSOLUTION: In the humidifying apparatus 12 for moving moisture from a first fluid to a second fluid via ion exchange membranes, the ion exchange membranes 24, 25 in the humidifying apparatus 12 are constructed so that the first fluid and the second fluid flowing through the humidifying apparatus 12 flow on a membrane having a cation exchange function and a membrane having an anion exchange function, and the membrane having the cation exchange function and the membrane having the anion exchange function are made of different ion exchange membranes 24, 25.
