PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding material that can exhibit sufficient lubricity when desired and can exhibit excellent sliding properties by dissolving the drawback that the friction resistance of the rubber material is unnecessarily large.;SOLUTION: In the sliding material, small particles of wax that melts at a temperature higher than the normal one and is incompatible to and nonreactive with a liquid rubber to be hardened are dispersed in the hardened product of the liquid rubber.
