Turning Manufacturing Week into a new manufacturing age

By the time this March edition of Works Management falls into your hands, Manufacturing Week and its cuddly 'We Love Manufacturing' moniker will have come and gone. The week, an initiative from the manufacturers' organisation EEF, ran from 1 to 5 March and was billed as "our opportunity to tell politicians and the public why manufacturing is important to our future". With a general election coming up, EEF said "we're trying something different to make sure the next government gets the message".
