PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which has a solid/liquid separation apparatus containing a strainer, enables the release of a locking of the strainer of the solid/liquid separation apparatus with a simple operation by applying no load on a driving motor even if the strainer bites a hard material such as a stone and a shell to be locked.;SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus has the solid/liquid separation apparatus 10 for separating water from garbage, wherein the solid/liquid separation apparatus 10 has a separation vessel 12 in which the garbage is introduced with water, the strainer 14 rotation driven in the separation vessel 12, and a scraper 16 which cooperates with the strainer 14 to separate the garbage from water, and can be equipped with an operating lever 60 which rotation operates the strainer 14 in cooperation with a driving shaft 15 of the strainer 14 to remove the locking of the strainer 14 when the strainer 14 is locked.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
