PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal information browsing/update system for allowing a personal information provider to safely browse or update personal information which he/she has provided, for the purpose of confirming the management status or the completeness of the personal information or updating the information while keeping the information secret. PSOLUTION: The personal information browsing/update system includes a provider device 101 and user devices 102-104. When sending personal information for review to users, the provider device 101 sends each item in the personal information for browsing as hash values. The user devices 102-104 verify the personal information for browsing based on the hash value of each item in the personal information received from the provider device 101 and on the hash value of the personal information that each of the user devices has.
