PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel expressive performance voice generator which controls a morphing rate by a gesture using the technique of en ESVM. PSOLUTION: The novel expressive performance voice generator 10 includes a computer 22. According to the sensor values from sensors 161a-164, 181 and 182 disposed at a gloves type sensor (14) to be worn on the hand for operating a hand doll (12), the computer identifies the gesture of the hand doll by referencing an interpretation table 24 and maps the gesture at the morphing point (morphing rate) by referencing the gesture expression corresponding table 26. In compliance with the morphing rate, the original singing voices (normal, dark, and whisper and wet) previously accumulated in a singing voice data base 28 are morphed and are produced from a loudspeaker 34.
