PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-up clutch mechanism having simple construction for preventing judder by uniformizing circumferential bearing pressure on a friction face in spite of a change in the piston thrusting force of a lock-up clutch.;SOLUTION: The lock-up clutch mechanism for a torque converter comprises the lock-up clutch to which a friction material having the friction face is fixed, and a front cover having an engaging face for engaging with the friction face being thrust in the axial direction.
