HEAT RECOVERY FROM A SOLD OUT COOKING SOLUTION IN A PLANT WITH DIGESTOR OF A CHEMICAL SEMI-FLUID MILL MILL. The present invention relates to a process for heating the white solution or the same and a second liquid for later use in the digesting system of a chemical slurry mill. The digestor system produces black solution. A stream of black solution (7) is discharged from the digester and vaporized to produce flashing steam. The steam "shing" (10) is conducted for indirect heat exchange in contact with at least one heat exchanger (9) with the white solution (II) or with the white solution and a second liquid to produce heated white solution (14) or heated mixture. The vaporized black solution (19) is further passed through for heat recovery or evaporation.
