An educational game for at least one player is provided. The game includes: at least one reference sheet or board for denoting a correlating sequence; and at least one template for the application of written material. The template is transparent and the reference sheet includes a border to define an allowable region of placement for the template on the reference sheet. The template is smaller than the allowable region such that the template covers a part of the allowable region when placed on the reference sheet. The game is played in accordance with the Set of Rules for the Game disclosed on pages 12-14 of the accompanying specification.
