MODULAR TECHNOLOGY FOR MICRONIZATION OF NON-METALLIFEROUS MINERAL SUBSTANCES OF LOW AND MEDIUM HARDNESS

The invention relates to a process for the micronization of non-metalliferous mineral substances of low and medium hardness. According to the invention, the process comprises the inter-stage transport of mineral substances, crushing and granulating them from a grain size of 300-400 mm down to a grain size of less than 10 mm, drying the same from a humidity of 8...10% to a value of less than 0.5%, micronizing and screening them to obtain, upon request, a broad granulometric range, from 0...20 μm to 60...90 μm, and even up to 140 μm, packing and temporary storing, as well as dedusting, at a production capacity of 100...150 kg/h of final product, each stage being carried out in a module, the number of modules employed, the succession and the order of activation thereof depending on the physical and chemical properties of the mineral species subjected to processing, as well as on the characteristics required for the final products.
