THERMOFORMING INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCING SHAPED BODIES MADE OF PLASTIC FILM, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

The heat-shaping assembly (1), to produced shaped bodies from plastics films (50) e.g. beakers or containers lids or foodstuff packaging and the like, has a two-part molding station (20). It has an upper mold table (28) with the upper mold (30) and its moving prestretching units, at an adjustable fixed height setting. The lower mold (34), with cavities, is mounted to a moving lower mold table (30), with a guide system (42) and a drive to move it in relation to the upper mold. A drive (26) positions the upper mold table at a setting in relation to the upper dead point of the lower mold movement, and a second drive operates the moving prestretching units.
