PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF AlB2 UNDER HIGH PRESSURE

摘要

A process for the preparation of AlBunder high pressure comprises forming of boride mass consisting of boron-containing component and aluminum, heating the mass to the temperature sufficient for melting aluminium and holding under this temperature. Amorphous boron is used as boron-containing component. Ceramics production is carried out under the pressure not less than 4.0 GPa. A capsule of niobium is used as blocking medium, and the process is carried out using a pressure vessel of "toroid-30" type.
