Compact waveguide actuator, phase stable waveguide and multiplexer using this actuator

The actuator (15) has identical thread shaped force pieces (10a-10d) formed in a material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion, and a securing piece (11) realized in another material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion not greater than that of the first material. A median region (14) is provided between two top and bottom ends of the securing piece. The top and bottom ends of the securing piece are respectively linked to external ends and internal ends of each force piece. An independent claim is included for a waveguide with phase stability.
