PURPOSE: A segment for a grinding tool, a grinding tool with the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize heat transmitted to a shank by the formation of one or more through-holes on a segment. CONSTITUTION: A segment for a grinding tool comprises one or more through-holes and multiple sub segments(21a,21b). One or more through-holes are formed in the direction of the rotary shaft for the emission of the heat. The multiple sub segments are integrated with each other. In the through-holes, recessed grooves(23a,23b) are formed in one boundary face among the combined sub segments.
