PURPOSE: A method for detecting melamine in food using Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering is provided to remarkably expand a detection limit when a gold substrate for SERS is manufactured using electrochemical reaction.;CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting melamine in food using Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering is as follows. A metal substrate for Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering is manufacturing by roughening a metal plate through an electrochemical oxidation-reduction cycle. A specimen solution is formed by melting a specimen with melamine without pre-processing. The specimen is adsorbed on the metal substrate.
