COMPOSITION HAVING CAPSOSIPHON FULVESCENS-DERIVED POLYSACCHARIDE WITH ANTI-THROMBOTIC EFFECT AND IMMUNITY

PURPOSE: A polysaccharide extracted from Capsosiphon fulvescens with anti-thrombotic effect and immunity is provided to produce a large amount of polysaccharide without side effects.;CONSTITUTION: A polysaccharide having anti-thrombotic effect and immunity is isolated from Capsosiphon fulvescens. The polysaccharide is a soluble polysaccharide containing sulfate residue. The polysaccharide contains mannose and galactose as a main ingredient. A composition contains the polysaccharide as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the polysaccharide comprises: a step of neutralizing hydrolyzed extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens; a step of precipitating with alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, ethyl acetate, hexane, dichloromethane, or mixture solvent thereof and centrifuging to obtain a first precipitate; a step of treating the first precipitate with calcium chloride(CaCl_2) and centrifuging to obtain a supernatant; a step of treating the supernatant with alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, ethyl acetate, hexane, dichloromethane, or mixture solvent thereof to obtain a second precipitate; and a step of dialyzing the second precipitate and drying.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
