PURPOSE: System and method for recognizing a screen mark are provided to recognize the position of the screen mark on a PCB rapidly and accurately by recognizing the screen mark using the contrast between light and shade. CONSTITUTION: A system for recognizing a screen mark comprises a light source(10), an infrared camera(20) and a signal recognizing unit(30). The light source irradiates light of an infrared area to a PCB. The light source uses an LED(Light Emitting Diode). The light source is installed on the lower end of the infrared camera. The infrared camera recognizes light and shade depending on the difference of the luminous intensity of the infrared area and outputs image data. The signal recognizing unit receives the image data and recognizes the position of a screen mark.
