A NOVEL DETECTION METHOD OF ENTEROTOXIN-PRODUCING BACILLUS CEREUS

PURPOSE: A primer for detecting Bacillus which produces toxin is provided to accurately and simultaneously select Bacillus cereus. CONSTITUTION: A primer for detecting toxin-producing Bacillus is used for amplifying DNA of plcR or papR. A method for detecting the Bacillus comprises: a step of performing PCR using a nucleic acid from a biological sample and a primer pair; and a step of analyzing the presence of amplified product and molecular weight of the product. A kit for detecting toxin-producing Bacillus contains the primer, dNTP mixture, thermostable polymerase, and PCR buffer.
