PURPOSE: A device for testing a large hydraulic cylinder is provided to enhance reliability of a hydraulic cylinder tester by supplying different pressure step by step and determining operation state each time. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing a large hydraulic cylinder comprises a jig(1), a hydraulic pump(3), a control unit(4) and a pressure gauge(5). The jig comprises a base plate, an anchor coupling unit(13) and a pair of side brackets(12). The base plate is formed in a square box shape and supports the hydraulic cylinder. The anchor coupling unit is coupled to one end of the body of the large hydraulic cylinder and to the end of the rod of the cylinder. The side brackets are vertically fixed through steel welding to face each other. A hydraulic pump supplies fluid pressure supplied to the hydraulic cylinder, step by step in response to the output signal of the control unit.
