Combination seals developed by the V. A. Belyi Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems and BelAz Production Group have been subjected to comparative workbench tests. The results show high wear and abrasion resistance of the new fluoroplastic composite "Ftoran-5" which served to make the seals and wipers featuring the performance comparable with that of the seals produced by the Busak + Shamban Co., a leading global manufacturer of seals.
