PURPOSE: A contact-less torque sensor for a steering system is provided to measure magnetic characteristics since a plurality of shielding rods, which are magnetic circuit parts pertaining to a magnetic shielding unit, and a connecting ring are integrally formed, thereby forming a closed circuit.;CONSTITUTION: A contact-less torque sensor for a steering system comprises a magnetism generating unit, a magnetism shielding unit, a magnetism collecting unit and a magnetism detecting sensor. The magnetism generating unit comprises an upper magnet ring(211) and a lower magnet ring(212), where a plurality of N magnets and S magnets are arranged alternately in a circumferential direction. The magnetism shielding unit comprises a plurality of shielding rods(221) and single connecting ring(222). The shielding rods are arranged on the outer surface of the magnetism generating unit at the same intervals corresponding to one of the N magnet and the S magnet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
