PURPOSE: A background modeling method for object shape detection is provided to model a background from an image regardless of the movement of an object.;CONSTITUTION: An image input unit obtains an image which is photographed from an external device(S10). A motion region setting unit sets up a motion region from a motion map that is outputted from a motion map generating unit(S30). A face-based entire body region setting unit detects a face of people from the image of the image input unit.
