PURPOSE: The gamma correction method of pinhole body scanning for precisely diagnosing potential traumatic bone-lesion and an apparatus for the same are provided to improve the accuracy of potential fracture and traumatic bone-lesion related diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A gamma correction body scanning apparatus(100) is composed of a collimator(110), a scintillation detector(120), a photoelectron multiplier(130), a data processer(140), an image displayer(150), and a gamma correcting unit(160). The photoelectron multiplier is a vacuum tube including a photocathode and a plurality of diodes. The data processor eliminates noise from a signal from the photoelectron multiplier using an amplifier and a pulse-height analyzer.
