PURPOSE: A method for analyzing SNP of a gene encoding CYP3A5 is provided to develop a drug metabolized by CYP3A5. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing genetic SNP encoding CYP3A5 comprises: a step of preparing intron 1, 3, 4, and 9, exon 13 and untranslated 3' region of a gene encoding CYP3A5 from a genome DNA; a step of detecting SNP presence; a step of identifying detected SNP with haplotype selected from H1-H7; and a step of analyzing genetic SNP.
