Operation method of real-time location tracking system of railway vehicle

PURPOSE: A real-time position tracking of a train and an operational method thereof are provided to collect various kinds of information on vehicles in order to implement location tracking and real-time management for a train. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification System) tag(101) is attached to bottom or side of unit railroad car(100). A plurality of RFID readers(102) are installed in constant interval. The reader automatically recognizes the wireless tag. A relay unit(104) collects identity information from the reader. A general railroad operation and management unit(105) communicate with the relay. The general railroad operation and management unit manages unit difference amount through railroad car information of the reader.
