The magnetic core has a toroidal structure formed by winding the iron-based amorphous metal ribbon . Then, the core is heat-treated to have a BH property . Advantageously, the linear BH characteristic is not changed according to the applied magnetic field level and the use frequency . Due to these characteristics , the core is particularly suitable for use in the current transformer .
