FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anesthesiology, traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for anaesthesia supporting upper extremity surgeries. That is ensured by Tuohy needle puncture in a cross point of a bisector generated by an axis of a clavicle and a straight line connecting a mastoid and a sternoclavicular junction and a perpendicular drawn from a border of a middle and distal one third of the clavicle. After the puncture, the Tuohy needle is moved further 2.5-3 cm by the subcutaneous fat in a proximal direction strictly by the bisector, fixed at an angle 40-45° to a frontal plane of a patient and perpendicularly to an axis of a cervical spine. Further, the needle is advanced to contractions with the use of an electrical stimulator. After a negative aspirating test and a test dose of an anesthetic drug, a principal dose of the anesthetic drug is introduced with damping contractions. Then a catheter is inserted through the needle, while the needle is removed, and the catheter is fixed to skin in an exit point.;EFFECT: way enables adequate perioperative anaesthesia, as well as postoperative prolongation thereof with simultaneous reduction of lung injury risk.;1 ex
