The device has an antenna (1) for receiving a Digital Coded Frequency type high frequency signal that is compared with a high frequency time radio signal to obtain an error signal. A processor processes the error signal between official date provided by the high frequency signal and time information detected by an optical, magnetic or mechanical device such that the date is displayed by clockwork. The error signal is applied to an electromagnetic actuator (3) that corrects a position of the device displaying the date, such that indication of the date by the watch is identical to official date.
