The fitting has a window leaf (17), whose end is displaceably mounted along a window frame (15) which is displaced from a closing position of the leaf into an open position from an end of the frame. Pivotable levers (61, 63) extend from hinged axes (75, 77) to articulated axes (71, 73), where an arm (39) extends from the joined axes to a balance axis (55) in a direction to the closing position of sliding parts (35). An independent claim is also included for a turning window with a fitting.
