The device for the treatment of phytosanitary effluents comprises at least one wastewater collection system (8), a storage tank (1), a vertical plant structure (2, 3, 4) with at least one combined biodegradable specific substrate to fully rooted vegetation (all the substrate is colonized), an irrigation system (6) placed on top of the vertical structure to irrigate the vertical structure with the wastewater through a pump (5) and a drainage system (7) on the bottom of the device that opens onto the storage tank so as to water the plant structure from the top and percolate water through the plant structure until their complete evapotranspiration.
