Pressure-balanced solenoid valve for actuation of fuel injector of common rail injection system of internal combustion engine, has valve member provided with excess/forward stroke and excess stroke stop, which limits movement of anchor
The valve has a capsule-shaped valve member (34) e.g. closing element retainer, provided with an excess stroke/forward stroke in relation to the valve member in its rest position in an opening direction. The valve member has an excess stroke stop (80), which limits movement of an anchor (36). The anchor is arranged with respect to the excess stroke stop in an excess stroke distance (44). The valve member is formed as a multipart and has spring disks subjected by a valve spring (32). The valve member is subjected to pressure forces over a spherically formed closing body in the direction.
