The element (1) has an upper flexible conductive layer and a lower flexible conductive layer, which are formed on an upper side and/or a lower side of a flexible electrically non-conductive layer (2). Capacitive sensors (15nm) comprise two capacitor surfaces (3a-nm, 4a-nm), which are formed as partial regions of the conductive layers. The capacitive sensors are completely formed by the electrically non-conductive layer and the upper and lower conductive layers. The surface element is provided with radio frequency identification transponder units. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sensing surface element.
