The wheel (10) has a non-rotating wheel suspension (14), and a magnetic, rotatably mounted rim (12) enclosing the non-rotating wheel suspension. The rim is electromagnetically acceleratable and brakable with respect to the non-rotating wheel suspension along circumferential direction. Magnets (22, 24) are arranged at front side of the wheel suspension and at front side of the rim, where distance from the rim to the non-rotating wheel suspension along radial and/or axial direction (R) is influenced by the magnets.
