The rim (3) has an outer rim (3.1), two rim flanges (3.2), multiple spokes (3.3) and a rim hub (3.4) that are connected to a vehicle hub by bolts (4) and nuts. The spokes are connected with the rim hub and the outer rim or the rim flanges. A pyrotechnic element (6) is releasably arranged in the spokes for separating the spokes. The rim flanges deform locally when exposed to a defined force. The rim is integrally formed by casting and/or forging. The pyrotechnic element is triggered by a security device e.g. airbag, of a vehicle (1) upon detection of a front crash. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a security device.
