The motorcycle i.e. scooter (1), has a front wheel (2) rotatably supported at a front wheel suspension (4). A rear wheel (3) is rotatably supported at a rear wheel suspension (5). The front and rear wheels have rims and tires that are drawn on the respective rims. Two wheel covers (6, 7) are provided at the respective front- and rear wheel suspensions for covering sides of the rims. The front- and rear wheels are rotatably arranged with respect to the wheel covers. An illumination device is provided for illuminating the wheel covers, which are made of translucent material.
