The solar cell (100) has a first electrically conductive line (140) i.e. connecting line, for connecting second and third electrically conductive lines (130, 131) e.g. collector lines, with each other. The first line has a recess (143) between the second and third lines, where the recess reduces a cross-sectional area of the first line. The recess is provided in a middle region of the first line, where the middle region extends over length. The second and third lines have a through line that connects upper and lower sides of the solar cell.
