Method for controlling electromotor driven feed back actuator in steering system of passenger car, involves implementing low pass filtering with corner frequency that is changed as function of angle or velocity or speed
The method involves considering current acceleration of a motor vehicle in form of a low pass-filtered signal, during control of an electromotor. The low pass filtering is implemented with a corner frequency that is changed as a function of current steering angle and/or current steering angle velocity and/or current running speed of the vehicle. The corner-frequency is constant till to a certain border-steering angle, and increases with increasing running speed and/or with increasing steering angle velocity at a steering angle, whose amount is larger than the border steering angle. An independent claim is also included for a low pass filter for a signal of a lateral acceleration sensor that is provided in the motor vehicle.
