The device has several neighboring solar modules (2) having larger equilateral triangular side walls (4) forming hollow interior portions inside the solar modules such that solar modules are in octahedron/tetrahedron form (5). Several solar cell elements are filled in preset area of the interior portions. The surface area of interior portion that is not with solar cell elements is made reflective. The light entry ports (6) through which the light enters into the solar modules, are formed in solar modules. The light entry port is covered by a transparent cover (8). An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing of photovoltaic device.
