The device has a cone reflector (1) widened from a tapered end towards a symmetry axis (5). A light source i.e. LED, is arranged with respect to the reflector such that light (3), which is emitted from the light source, impinges on the reflector parallel to the symmetry axis of the reflector. The reflector reflects light in a breakdown plane (4), which intersects the symmetry axis under a specific angle. A reflecting surface of the reflector is designed in accordance with a parabola rotating around the symmetry axis.
