The method includes following steps: routing controller id of abstract node in each upper layers is saved in node in automatic switch optical network (ASON); with interaction, the node gets the routing controller id of abstract node of each layer saved in opposite node; the node compares the routing controller id of abstract node of each layer saved in its own with the routing controller id of abstract node of each layer saved in opposite node to get the highest layer with different comparing result, and takes routing controller id of abstract node in the layer above saved in opposite node as upper opposite terminal address in the link between itself and opposite node; determines there is not routing controller id be identical with the upper layer address of opposite terminal in control domain of the node; determines the link between the node and opposite node is inter-domain link.
