A battery pack system (10) is composed of a plurality of battery pack blocks (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), each of which is constituted by connecting a plurality of cells in series, that are connected with one another by a combination of serial connection and parallel connection. The battery pack blocks are each provided with a current sensor (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) for detecting current values.
