A device (d) is dedicated to the provision of images for a passenger of a vehicle (va) provided with a screen (ea) suitable for displaying images defined by the data. This device (d) comprises i) of the processing means (mt) responsible for processing the data from a camera (cv) and constituting the video images of a front zone (3) situated in front of the vehicle (va), in order to form the first sets of data which each constitute a main image representative of the front zone (2a) and intended to be displayed by the screen (ea) in a first part, and ii) of the calculation means (mc) responsible for determining, from each of the first set of data a second set of data constituting a complementary image representing, on the one hand, of a complementary zone situated at least in part, just behind the front zone (2a) and in which is located the vehicle (va), and on the other hand, the position of the vehicle (va), and intended to be displayed by the screen (ea) in a second complementary part of the first part.
