Apparatus for kilning seed sprouts comprising a sprouted grain tank having a bottom provided with ventilation openings and an unloading orifice, a ventilation chamber disposed under the tank, a conveyor disposed under the ventilation chamber to collect the sprouted grains during unloading of the tank through said orifice, characterized in that it comprises a cleaning mechanism of the ventilation chamber provided with substantially parallel troughs forming the bottom of the ventilation chamber, conveyor screws mounted in the troughs, the screws being driven by the conveyor in a direction bringing debris fallen in a chute to the conveyor, the carrier being mounted through the ventilation chamber to evacuate said debris during cleaning of the ventilation chamber.
