The positioning system comprises a monoblock structure with three elements (1, 2, 3), where a second element is arranged between a first element and a third element. The first element is movable according to a second axis relative to the second element. The second element is movable according to third axis relative to the third element. The third axis is perpendicular to second axis. The three elements comprise a guiding unit displacing the three elements by sliding according to relative axis, and a fixation unit to connect the elements to one another. The positioning system comprises a monoblock structure with three elements (1, 2, 3), where a second element is arranged between a first element and a third element. The first element is movable according to a second axis relative to the second element. The second element is movable according to third axis relative to the third element. The third axis is perpendicular to second axis. The three elements comprise a guiding unit displacing the three elements by sliding according to relative axis, a fixation unit to connect the elements to one another, and a unit for blocking two elements in a desired position. The fixation unit comprises a screw cooperating with openings having an oblong shape oriented according to second and third axes. The first and/or second elements comprise an adjustment unit to control the displacement of the first element relative to the second element. The third and/or second elements comprise an adjustment unit to control the displacement of the third element relative to the second element. The adjustment unit further comprises a blocking screw. Independent claims are included for: (1) an assembly comprising a laser focusing head and the positioning system; (2) a laser installation; and (3) a method for laser-arc hybrid welding, cutting or marking.
