The anti-vibration device consists of a long rigid element (1) connected to a rigid movable element (2). The two elements are articulated together so that the movable element can pivot perpendicularly to the axis of the plane of the racket head and to that of the cords (C) and to fold down on the cords in order to superpose the long element to sandwich the cords.
