The terminator (100) has a component (115) e.g. lamp, connected to a cable (110) at the level of a reinforced part (120). A set of conductors (112, 113, 114) e.g. electric conductors, is placed in a PTFE sheath (111), where the sheath constitutes a less adherence covering. The reinforced part has a reinforced element (130) i.e. resin, placed inside an enlarged part of an external plastic sheath (116). The enlarged part constitutes an external skin of the reinforced part. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting a cable to a component for forming a cable terminator.
