The individual and/or collective autonomous sanitation system comprises a primary treatment unit comprising a septic tank for the retention of suspended solids in the raw effluent and anaerobic digestion of settled sludge, and a secondary treatment unit comprising a massive filter. A balanced trough (6) is inserted into a tank between the septic tank and massive filter along a longitudinal axis of the system. The balanced trough has a shape of asymmetrical trough whose longitudinal axis is moved according to a central axis. The individual and/or collective autonomous sanitation system comprises a primary treatment unit comprising a septic tank for the retention of suspended solids in the raw effluent and anaerobic digestion of settled sludge, and a secondary treatment unit comprising a massive filter. A balanced trough (6) is inserted into a tank between the septic tank and massive filter along a longitudinal axis of the system. The balanced trough has a shape of asymmetrical trough whose longitudinal axis is moved according to a central axis. The asymmetrical trough has a curvilinear section, and a larger side segment for reception of effluent. The tank comprises the trough, and defines an arc of circle oriented towards the outlet of the effluents and situated under its larger side according to the axis of trough. The asymmetrical trough rotates freely about its axis without obstruction to resume its initial position for receiving effluents.
