The aspirator/separator has an aspiration chamber (1) provided with an inlet (1a) and surmounted by a waste recovery installation (20). A pressurized water injection opening (10) is connected to a conduit (11). A tube (12) introduces water under pressure towards the installation so as to induce an upward movement of the water in a water basin or swimming pool from the inlet towards an outlet (1b) of the chamber. A section of a cone (2) is reduced from the outlet of the chamber towards the inlet of the installation to accelerate the upward movement of water towards the installation.
