The reactor (1) for kinetic study of gas-liquid or liquid catalytic reactions, comprises internal wires (3) uniformly distributed on a section of the reactor and completely crossing a catalytic zone. The reactor contains a catalytic volume of less than 100 cm 3. The catalyst is present as solid particles having diameter of 0.5-4 mm. The number of internal wire is defined such that the greatest distance between a grain of catalyst and the internal or the nearest wall is less than a length l and represented by an equation as given in the specification.
